Occidente pierde preeminencia, la crisis ecol\u00f3gica se agrava, las sociedades se transformen bajo la sombra de los algoritmos y los acuerdos planetarios post-1945 quedan obsoletos. En este escenario, un componente fundamental en los estudios japoneses desde M\u00e9xico es el trazar di\u00e1logos entre ambas naciones sin triangulaci\u00f3n alguna. El presente texto busca enriquecer el conocimiento mutuo y alentar una comunicaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s estrecha a trav\u00e9s de cuatro autores avocados a analizar la expansi\u00f3n de la modernidad y la resistencia que gener\u00f3 en Jap\u00f3n y M\u00e9xico: Takeuchi Yoshimi, Guillermo Bonfil, Bol\u00edvar Echeverr\u00eda y Sakai Naoki. A trav\u00e9s de una visi\u00f3n interdisciplinaria se compara el pensamiento de estos cuatro intelectuales para demostrar que estos dos pa\u00edses, a pesar de sus muchas diferencias culturales, econ\u00f3micas y sociales, pueden comunicarse directamente sin necesidad de utilizar los preceptos y las categor\u00edas supuestamente universales creados por Occidente. Para ello puede usarse el \u201clenguaje de la resistencia\u201d, ya que comparten la experiencia hist\u00f3ricade enfrentar a la modernidad.
